My Alternative Lifestyle

"Are you guys together?" the woman at the counter asked. "Yes we are," I first replied, but then I said "No, not like that!" "Hey are you guys gay?" the car full of girls inquired. “No thanks” was my response; they probably think I lied.

This is my alternative lifestyle. I like guys, but not that way. My alternative lifestyle is not always trying to get my way.

“How can I serve You Friend?” is what I try to ask instead of asking myself “What is my next selfish task?” & this is not to say I’m free of all selfishness. But my counter-cultural goal is to serve myself less and less.

Gimme, gimme more; it’s all about me. Gimme, gimme more is a lame philosophy. Gimme, gimme more; it’s all about me. Gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme more, more, more, more.
