Please Don't Take It Away

It’s a cup that’s full of suffering; It’s a thorn in my side; It’s a hindrance to my focus that refuses to subside.

God, You know how this would go if it were up to me, but surrender is about Your Will so let my prayer be:

Please don’t take it, please don’t take it please don’t take it away. God, if this is part of Your Plan please don’t take it away. (Give me the strength to pray.)

It’s a Savior in the garden; It’s another sleepless night It’s praying knowing this is hard and still wanting to do right
