There's Always Hope

24 hours have passed: 'Aren’t you anxious to check?' No, I’m feeling relaxed; I’m not worried...yet.

She didn’t say 'yes', but she didn’t say 'no.' I must confess: I still have hope. (There’s always hope)

Now three days have passed; I’m more anxious to know. I’m much less relaxed. Will she say it’s a go?

Everything she has said is nothing (and nothing means nothing.)
