In other news, my new solo CD Ambivalence is available for purchase for $5 on my website davidloti.com. The CD was recently reviewed in the LSU campus newspaper. Kelly Caulk wrote the following:
With thoughtful and compelling tracks, he opens up to his listeners and reveals himself on this album. His voice is unique and his lyrics are so specific; they become universal and relatable to anyone. Every song on the album has a point and tells a story through a crisp yet inviting sound that is evident in the track "Good Year."
Finally A Soup Named Stew is planning to return to the studio this weekend! Weeeeee!

Greetings. I’ve picked up a few solo shows in December in Baton Rouge and Lafayette. It’s been a crazy, wild month; the days are packed. Graduate school is hard, but I’m learning lots of good material in the process. I’m looking forward to a break next week from work. I’m in the process of starting a new band called Stand Up Citizens with Monica Filgo. She’s a talented young woman; it will be a pleasure to work with her. I’m very excited about this new project, and I am still excited about playing solo and A Soup Named Stew shows.
